adidas Basketball won All-Star weekend. The three stripes kicked off the newest chapter of performance products with their Remember The Why event in Salt Lake City. While the party itself was lit and we had a great time rubbing shoulders with elite adidas athletes like Dame Lillard and Candace Parker, the real star of the show were the new models that adidas basketball is planning to drop in the future 💧

The adidas Crazy Illfinity is a sneaker largely inspired by the legendary Crazy 1s. By implementing some adult tones and muted colorways, the model gets a much needed sleek update that feels extremely adult, while still functioning as a performance basketball shoe. I really love the zipper on this model, and frankly these feel extremely wearable even off the court 👟

When these drop in 2023 I will absolutely be copping a pair. Another shoe that made big waves this weekend was the adidas Superteam 2000 S. Wow, I don't even know where to start with these...but they're freaking awesome 👏

They kinda look like futuristic motorbike from Akira, while also baring a strong resemblance to the cranial of the monster in the Alien franchise. I really want a pair and I know I'm not the only one. When I saw that Hidden NY was posting about these I realized just what a victory this weekend was for adidas 👀

Transcending your typical basketball audience and creating designs that reach the larger fashion world is a major victory. All the cool kids already traded their dunks for sambas. Oh, if you missed Dame's clutch last rack shooting at the 3-Point Contest take a look. Another dub for team adidas ⌚️
