adidas is celebrating their signature athlete, Lionel Messi, with an upcoming pair of Gazelles titled “Messi Triunfo Dorado”, which translate to Messi Golden Triumph 🏆

I’m a big fan of the Gazelle because they accomplish a lot of the same things the Samba does without being a pair of ubiquitous Sambas. This style has made a huge comeback over the last year or so, and former Real Madrid, Chelsea, Man United and Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho was just featured in the new jjjjound x adidas Samba collab dropping next week 🤝

The Messi Gazelle is a golden brown beauty that is release tomorrow for $110 via adidas.com. A cool summer shoe that will do you right well into the fall months when the seasons shift and color palettes change with the leaves. Candidly, there’s really not many images of the Gazelle so instead here’s Messi’s best goal ever 😅

On the Gazelle releasing tomorrow, the black soul and accents are a strong stylistic choice, but I respect the color clashing and I think it looks good. For my soccer fans out there, make sure to check out Spain vs Italy tomorrow at 3PM EST ⚽️
