Cameron Brink x New Balance

First off, we asked you guys which shoe we should buy next to bless one loyal subscriber. The answer is in, peep what we copped and keep an eye out for the giveaway in upcoming newsletters 👇

Cameron Brink has been a trending topic during the opening weeks of the WNBA season. The recent New Balance signee threw out the first pitch (which was funny) at the Dodgers game vs. the Diamondbacks wearing a pair of Jack Harlow’s unreleased NB 1906R’s 🎀

The Jack Harlow sneakers are super clean and very deluxe. They feature a pink floral upper, a tan nubuck toe cap and an olive soul the compliments the light pink well - the shiny crushed velvet is a nice touch as well. A release date or price for these hasn’t been set yet, but expect them to drop in 2024 🙏

At the same Dodgers game, Brink also linked up with Shohei Ohtani behind the scenes, who is also signed to New Balance. She’s been thrown in the LA spotlight right off the bat and is seemingly crushing it ⭐️

The three biggest names out of this most recent WNBA Draft are all signed to sneaker deals, Angel Reese with Reebok, Caitlin Clark with Nike and Cameron Brink with New Balance. As dynamic as Angel and Caitlin have been, I kind of feel like Cameron is the one who is making the most buzz, especially with her appearance in Kim K’s SKIMS campaign 🤝

Combine that with her recent appearance on Paul George’s Podcast P show and it feels like Brink is dominating the sports media cycle during the NBA playoffs. She spoke with PG about how funny Kawhi Leonard is in person and compared him to famously dry-humored actress Aubrey Plaza of White Lotus Season 2 😅

It’s worth noting that Cameron is getting a ton of praise for her on the court play as well, and some are saying “she plays like Anthony Davis”. The Sparks won their first game of the season yesterday thanks to Cameron’s defensive prowess. Plays like this show Brink’s potential at 6’4 👇

In other New Balance news, Kawhi Leonard’s ‘Grey Day’ KAWHI IV is set to drop this Saturday for $165. I’m not sure if I’m a big fan of the ‘Kawhi’ text on the heel, but other than that these have Nike Book 1 vibes as a performance and lifestyle shoe 👟

Unfortunately we won’t see these on the court till next season since the Clippers can’t win a playoff series. Maybe Cameron Brink will debut them 👀
