Erik Kilburn's HUGE Kicks
This is a wild story! A 14-year-old boy from Goodrich, Michigan named Eric Kilburn is so large that he has real issues finding a pair of properly fitting shoes. He is still growing and unfortunately, so are his feet. Eric's parents have reached out to multiple major sneaker corporations and sadly, were told that they only made custom shoes for professional athletes π
Meet Eric Kilburn Jr. standing at 6-foot-10, a 14-year-old football player who got good news this week when Under Armour and Puma stepped up with promises to make special size 23 shoes for him.

This is a pretty bad look for the companies that failed to help this family out, but fortunately Puma and Under Armour have made statements saying they will help this growing boy secure some properly fitting footwear. Check this out π
I don't know the exact dimensions of Eric's feet, articles say roughly a size 22, but I feel like if sneakers can be made to fit Boban Marjanovic and Shaq, then they can help guys like Eric, who plays football at his High School in Michigan π
In a sneaker world that can sometimes be a little overwhelming, this is a great feel-good story. More pictures linked here πΈ
