Devin Booker unveiled his second signature shoe at NBA media day last week: The Nike Book 2 📖

I'll be honest—I love the Nike Book 1. I'm not here for the Nike Book 1 hate; y'all just criticize basketball sneakers for fun. I get it, hating is entertaining. But it's also lazy to trash these shoes just because they're a bit different from what we expect from basketball footwear in 2024 🤷

They have a lifestyle vibe, and I think that's cool. Devin, a big sneakerhead growing up, designed many of his Nike Book 1 colorways as tributes to iconic sneakers of the past—Safari Air Max, Neon 95s, Nike Cortez, and so on

I'm confident Devin will bring more heat with the Nike Book 2, but I also expect him to keep thinking outside the box, which I know not everyone appreciates. As Devin says, "Everybody's gotta have haters." 😮‍💨

Based on his response, I don't think we'll see the new shoes immediately, but they'll definitely drop within the year 🎈
