Air Trailer Released

The first trailer for the upcoming Air Jordan feature film Air that will be released on April 5th dropped yesterday and I’m cautiously optimistic! 👇

Viola Davis is playing Deloris Jordan, Matt Damon is playing famous marketing executive Sonny Voccaro, and Ben Affleck is playing Nike founder Phil Knight. Knight has been poppin on Twitter after holstering his phone during LeBron's record-breaking shot on Tuesday 📲

As for the actors, those are three academy award-level people, so I know they’ll deliver. But the real question is, where is Mike? Many were hoping MJ would be played by Anthony Edwards, who made his acting debut in Hustle 😅

Based on the trailer, it seems as though there won’t be an actor playing Michael Jordan. I think they are going to try to strategically omit Michael himself from the film and kind of work around him. To be honest, I was really looking forward to the Jordan reveal and I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the entire trailer 😏

My expectations are pretty damn high, so I hope they can knock this one out of the park. Keep an eye out for an Air Super Bowl ad this Sunday - apparently Amazon is paying $7M for the placement in order to generate some more hype 💰
