Ja's Logo Debuts

It's officially holiday season, and Ja Morant's Nike signature shoes have been confirmed. Today we got a first look at the logo 🙉

While it doesn't reinvent the wheel, Ja’s logo is honestly pretty fire. It’s simple, and the first thing I thought of when I saw it was Kobe 🐍

The triangular shape certainly invokes an inverted version of the famous “Sword & Sheath” logo that was featured on Kobe’s Nike sneakers. In the context of all the other signature sneaker logos we’ve gotten from NBA players throughout years, Ja’s logo is certainly one of the better ones 🔥

• However, looking through the list, I can’t help but feel like Ja was deserving of a “Jumpman style” silhouette logo 👇

Obviously MJ’s Jumpman logo is the originator and the GOAT, but I love LeBron and Shaq’s dunking logo. And of course I have a soft spot for Sheed’s iconic step back jumper. Ja is such an electric jumper I feel a logo of him flying through the air would have been sick. Could have gone with this 😳
