Last weekend we hit the Nike Mount 12Skii activation in Salt Lake City centered around the release of the Ja 1s. The whole thing was a vibe, I was a huge fan of the ice luge that brought the sneakers down after you bought them. Oh and we're giving away more kicks, tap in for deets ✊ (2 min read)

Nike's Mount 12Skii activation in Salt Lake City was an absolute vibe 🧊, an event centered around the release of the Nike Ja 1. Ja Morant is obviously one of the biggest basketball starts on the planet, and with this initial signature sneaker launch, we could be seeing the first iteration of a sneaker that is released each year every year for the next 20 years ala LeBron 👑

This activation was all centered a little massive igloo In the shape of Ja’s sneaker and his chain. The custom Icebox chain featured the logo of his Nike Sneakers. Check it out ⛓

Additionally, the activation had ice breaking activities for kids where they used little hammers to break objects out of the ice. Once inside the igloo, we were blown away by the ice luge upon which the sneakers slide down to you after you buy them 👇

Seriously it felt like something out of a movie. I wasn’t able to secure a pair of the shoes and now I feel like an idiot because the resale is like $1.7k. Ouch. Final note: I was a huge fan of the Encino Man style ice block that contained a 3D statue of Ja 🔥
