Kanye vs. Adidas
Unless you live under a rock, then you're aware that Kanye West spent the weekend waging cyber warfare against Adidas in the form of IG posts...shocker 🤦♂️
Ye's primary complaint is that Adidas is ripping off his designs for their non-Yeezy shoes, while also releasing Yeezys without his approval
Kanye has a fair point — just peep the upcoming Adidas adiFOM Q shoes, which look and sound a lot like the Yeezy Foam Runners 😬

Anytime Kanye has a problem with something, he usually brings it to social media. Besides posting each board member with a degrading caption on IG, he's also targeted newly-appointed SVP of Adidas Daniel Cherry 👊

Kanye feels Adidas is trying to buy him out of his own brand, revealing they offered him $1B to walk away. That might seem like a lot of money, but Ye feels they're cheating him 👀
Yeezy shoes make up a substantial amount of Adidas' sales, so he definitely deserves a larger slice of the pie 💰

Kanye is under contract with Adidas until 2026, so expect this battle to get even uglier. Some of Ye's deepest die hards, including Swizz Beats, have posted about boycotting upcoming Adidas releases 🙅♂️
Let's be honest though, Ye could certainly survive on his own in the retail space without collaborators/manufactures like Adidas, or even GAP. We all know Ye will find a way ✌️

Jerry Seinfeld x Kith
Ronnie Fieg you sick bastard you did it. Jerry Seinfeld is officially the face of the KITH Fall/Winter 2022 lookbook 💧

KITH appeals to a preppy “Seinfeld-esque” sensibility, in the same way Aime Leon Dore does, so it makes sense that this Fall/Winter lookbook heavily borrows from everything that Teddy Santis and ALD have been putting out in recent years 👇

Queens College grad Jerry Seinfeld famously wore the QC crewneck many times over the course of his nine season show, so it's only fitting that Ronnie made a full sweatsuit inspired by that iconic collegiate look 📚

Jerry's got some serious heaters on his feet in this look book, and I'm pleased to say that all the shoes feel aligned with what he'd wear if the show was still running in 2022 👟
KITH AF1’s, Nike Zoom Spiridons (my personal fave), a pair of Air Max 95 “prototypes”, Bo Jackson’s Nike Air Trainer SC and a pair of Wallabees for good measure
Jerry had incredible footwear on the show so we are happy to see that hasn’t changed

Millennial fans of Seinfeld, KITH and Jerry Seinfeld feels like a match made in heaven, an alignment so seamless it's like a lunar eclipse. All other F/W 2022 lookbooks are potentially irrelevant 😏
