Kyrie Did It Again π€¦π½ββοΈ
Kyrie's new kicks were spotted, but its name has people confused...classic Ky. Plus, Nike is dropping an updated version of a classic Dunk Low, and people seem to like these better. Happy Friday, let's break it down πΌ (3 min read)

Kyrie 8s...Or 9s?
Kyrie has a new sneaker dropping, and while the shoe is undeniably a heater, its name has fans confused π€
When photos of the kicks first popped up online, the sneaker world naturally assumed we were getting a sneak peak at the upcoming Kyrie 9s, but according to Kyrie these are actually called the Kyrie 8s...

Only problem is that the Kyrie 8s already dropped...but not according to Kyrie. This retroactive renaming may have something to do with previous negative comments Kyrie himself made about the 8s last summer π

Back in 2021 when production photos leaked of the upcoming 8 model, Kyrie took to Twitter to call the shoes βtrashβ...truly a wild move that I'm sure offended everyone at Nike π₯Ί
Kyrie and Nike still debuted what was then the 8s, but clearly Kyrie felt some type of way about the shoe given the fact that he's now renamed it, and in someways removed it from the Kyrie Nike chronology
So, per Kyrie, the Kyrie 8s are being renamed to the βKyrie Infinityβ, and he's taking that old Kyrie 8 name and giving it to his new (9th) shoe, strange. Either way these 9βs, I mean 8βs, are fuego and Iβll def be looking to cop a pair π₯

Nike Reverse Pandas
Nike is giving a much needed reworking to their Panda Dunk lows with the upcoming Reverse Panda release πΌ

The Panda Dunks are arguably the most played out and over-worn shoe of the past five years. After what feels like ten different releases, almost every cheugy person who wanted them now owns a pair π¬
As a result, many sneaker-heads hate this shoe and those who choose to wear it. That being said, the reverse pandas have been met with far more positivity from the sneaker community π

I'm a fan of the reverses, and they call to mind a low top version of the Supreme Dunk Highs that released earlier this year π§
