LaMelo's 2nd Puma Shoe

Big news. Actually, HUGE news. Photos of what appears to be LaMelo Ball’s 2nd signature shoe with Puma have surfaced online, just two days after his 21st birthday 🎉

The PUMA MB.01 was a smash success, so it makes sense that this 2nd iteration features minimal tweaks to the design of the first pair. This is the first model, peep how similar they are 💧

While the MB.01’s featured a feather decal, this second model has wings reminiscent of the 2021 ROY’s intense chest tattoo. LaMelo’s signature logo, featured on his eponymous clothing line LaFrancé and the back heel of the MB.02, is literally lifted from that same tattoo ✒️

Some fans have complained that this potential 2nd model is way too similar to the MB.01...take a look at some of the comments on social 👇

Jordan History Lesson

Fun Fact: The Nike Air Ship is the first shoe Michael Jordan ever wore in an NBA game...obviously not a pair of Jordan's 🏀

Back in 2020, we saw a gorgeous pair of the Jordan New Beginnings pack drop. Featuring a Red/White AJ1 and the aforementioned Red Air Ships, the pack retailed for $350 and now goes for around $1500 🤑

Casuals may dismiss the Air Ship because they aren’t familiar with the silhouette, but frankly these are just as cool as the AJ1s. In the past year, we saw a yellow/white Air Ship colorway leak, and while that pair was nice, they don't really touch a candle to this blue and white pair A Ma Maniére is rolling out 👀

James Whitmer (AMM & The Social Status) has had a hell of a run with his Nike/Jordan collabs these past few years, but I’m not gonna lie I think these are his best pair yet. Something about that dodger blue and the throwback silhouette takes me back in time 👏

Unfortunately these shoes are going to be limited to 2300 pairs (cute I get it...23 like Jordan) when they drop on Friday, but couldn’t we have done 23,000? I mean damn, give us a chance to cop! Confused? Me too. Dwai we broke down the full story for you here 👇
