LeBron 21s In LAL Colors

Yesterday we got a closer look at what will be the first colorway of LeBron James’ 21st signature sneaker: the Nike LeBron 21 “Purple Rain”, a tribute to the late, great, Prince Rogers Nelson 👑

Everyone knows LeBron is a huge music fan, so hopefully we see more music inspired colorways like this for the LeBron 21 in the future. Initially it was reported that this purple colorway was going to be called “Violet Dust”, and while that's a very pretty name and it certainly suits the sneaker, I think a Prince tribute is way cooler 💜

These are going to be dropping on October 14th, which scary enough, is basically just around the corner. Summer’s always almost over. In addition to being a beautiful tribute to The Purple One, these 21s are also Lakers’ purple and gold 🏀

Interestingly enough, we also got a first look at a Movie Theatre Red Carpet inspired pair of the same 21s set to release in November. “James Theater” on the tongue tag is a nice touch 🎭

Well done Nike on both of these colorways, not 100% on which one I’d spend my money on. Gimme some help, which one would you cop? 👇
