Luka x Jordan x Lakers

Jordan Brand and Luka Dončić pulled out all the stops for Luka's first game against the Mavericks. First things first, they dropped a dope commercial featuring George Strait's classic breakup tune "All My Ex's Live in Texas"—a not-so-subtle nod to Luka's former team, the Dallas Mavericks 🤠

The spot features one of Luka's favorite cars, a Koenigsegg Regera. A pair of hands unscrews the "77" Texas license plate to install the "77" California license plate 🚗

That same Koenigsegg Regera pulled up to Crypto.com Arena before the game with a custom 77 Luka wrap. Lakers fans got to check out the supercar and take pictures, but most importantly—Luka and Jordan Brand blessed the Lakers faithful with free parking 🅿️

Yes, you heard me correctly: Lakers fans got free parking outside of Crypto.com Arena. Fans also received fun bumper stickers with slogans like "Can't spell Luka without LA," "Honk if you love Slovenia," and "How's my driving (to the hoop)?" 🏀

While Lakers fans are obviously thrilled to have Luka on their team, these small acts of fan service mean a lot! It's great to see Jordan Brand going the extra mile to show love to the fans ❤️

Having one of your major stars move to LA to play with LeBron is a major win for multiple reasons. No disrespect to Dallas, but Los Angeles is a massive media market, and Jordan Brand has been on point with all their branding since the trade 👀

My personal favorite was their post-trade slogan "Good Luck Y'all"—a not-so-subtle nod to the Texas-based franchise that thought it was a good idea to trade an All-NBA talent at 25 🤷
