New Signature Shoes
Devin Booker and Ja Morant are finally getting their own Nike signature shoe in 2023. After what feels like years of anticipation, the next generation of Nike athletes are ready for their sneaker debut 👏

Devin Booker’s sneaker feels a little overdue...I imagine Nike wishes they had the DBook’s out when the Suns were on their Finals run 18 months ago. Plus, Ja Morant is probably the most marketable athlete in the entire NBA, so I'm guessing Nike is putting a fair amount of pressure on themselves to knock his shoe out of the park 🏆
Ja Morant really did all of this in just the 3rd quarter. The best show in the NBA

If Nike plays their cards right and debuts a signature model that fans love, we could be looking at the next LeBron or KD level performance basketball sneaker. While no official release dates have been announced, we expect to see these shoes hit retailers in late Summer/early Fall 2023

Adidas NIL Moves
Adidas announced Tuesday that they have signed four emerging college stars to NIL deals: Hansel Enmanuel (Northwestern State), Gradey Dick (Kansas), and Jalen Hood-Schifinio (Indiana) and Trayce Jackson-Davis (Indiana). These four hoopers will join Louisville standout Hailey Van Lith 🤑

All five will be the future faces of the brand, and they will be heavily featured in Adidas campaigns moving forward. Hailey had an extremely accomplished HS career in the state of Washington, and was a dominant force at Louisville this past season. I wouldn’t be surprised if she became one of the preeminent faces of women's basketball moving forward. Similarly, Hansel Enmanuel was a huge viral sensation in high school, inspiring people all around the world 🙏
Hansel Emmanuel received a D1 scholarship offer to play basketball at Tennessee State.

Despite losing one of his arms at the age of six, Hansel put on a show at South Florida’s Life Christian Academy. Then there's Gradey Dick, who has all the makings of a future NBA All-Star. A certified AAU legend, Dick will look to help No. 6 Kansas win back-to-back National Championships 🏆
Gradey Dick is constantly putting up good performances for his already solid resume. A good game today, this 6’8 wing is a really enticing freshman prospect. If the defense improves we’re looking at a very talented 3 and D guy, a guy all 30 teams need right now. 16PPG this year

Lastly don't sleep on the two Indiana players, who average a combined 27 PPG for the No. 14 team in the country. Obviously Nike are the top dog when it comes to performance basketball sneakers, but seeing how aggressive Adidas has been signing the next generation, we may see a power shift in the near future 👀
