MSCHF...Air Cast?

MSCHF, the mad geniuses behind the Gombstomper, the Wavy Baby and the Lil Nas X shoes, are coming out with possibly their most viral sneaker yet 🌀

The MSCHF AC1 is clearly inspired by air casts worn by those recovering for from foot injuries. As someone whose had foot surgery and worn an air cast, I can honestly say that walking boots are kind of fly. Truth be told they don’t even look that out of place next to a lot of the “high fashion” designer footwear I see being peddled to the general public these days 😅

The walking boots kind of give Raf Simmons or Rick Owens vibes, and I think MSCHF knew that when they released photos of high fashion model/influencer Bloody Osiris wearing the boots. I mean looking at these photos...I feel like I'm just looking at fashion dude, not someone with two broken feet 👣

Idk if I could pull these walking boots off though, I’m not a leather drop crotch sweatpants kind of guy. The AC1s are going to retail for $450...I realize that sounds like a lot, but when you look at what Balenciaga is charging, these walking boots start looking like a relative steal 👀
