New MSCHF Gallery In Soho 🍎

MSCHF opened a gallery in New York that blew my mind. Are they a sneaker company, or an art company? I still don't get it. Take a look 🌀 (2 min read)

MSCHF Gallery In NYC

We pulled up to MSCHF x Perrotin gallery that opened yesterday in lower Manhattan. Obviously MSCHF is famous for their truly wild creations, and they certainly did not disappoint with this exhibition. Take a look 👇

The occasion for the gallery opening was a special edition black suede pair of the Super Normals, limited to only 666 pairs. These kicks are largely inspired by the Nike AF1, and from a distance it’s hard to tell the difference 👀

While the sneakers were the only item available for purchase at the pop up, the other works they were displaying in the gallery space were borderline mind-blowing. These were a few of the notable pieces 👇

  • Porta-Potties that automatically lock as you reach to open them

  • Locked iPhones that feature actual celebrities phone numbers (I might text The Weeknd)

  • Lemonade infused with a legal dose of LSD

  • AI generated feet pics

  • A deconstructed Damien Hirst painting

  • And they even had celebrity 24k Goldens hand sticking out of a wall. Yes you heard me correctly, they paid a rapper to stand behind a makeshift wall with just his hand sticking out. I dapped him up, it was weird

Honestly I'm confused at this point, is MSCHF a sneaker company, an art company? I'm not totally, sure but either way they keep coming out with incredible stuff and I cant wait see what they cook up next ⏲
