☀️ Devin Booker's Signature Shoe

We finally got our first look at Devin Booker's new signature shoe, and damn these are fire. They have both on and off the court functionality, Drake is helping spread the word, and there's some drama involving Paul George as well. What more can you ask for in a release? Nike Book 1

Earlier this year we got a first look at Devin Booker's new signature shoe, the Nike Book 1. While there were some negative initial reactions to the sneakers, I personally am a huge fan and think they are super fire ☀️

People ripped on the shoes for being too lifestyle influenced and plain, but frankly I really appreciate how calm these sneakers are. We got that wear test teaser earlier this week from D Book and it’s a must watch 👇

If you look closely, you’ll see Booker pause on one comment that reads “They got rid of the PG (Paul George) line for this??”. PG and Book have had beef (read more) for a few years now, so this is a fun narrative Nike is playing into. Plus, Drake is involved, as he was seen wearing the unreleased shoe at his concert in Arizona earlier this week 🦉

Photos surfaced of a special pair of the Book 1s that come in a large briefcase and feature the name of Drake's upcoming album For All The Dogs. Drake announced the release date on IG as 9/22…can’t wait! 🎧

This special release is super deluxe, but unfortunately I doubt the general release pairs are going to arrive cushioned in foam in a briefcase. I know people feel like these look too much like the Mac Attack, but I really appreciate that Book came up with a shoe that can look good off the court 💼
