Nike Updates Resale Policy

Nike has officially declared war on resellers, updating their terms of sale in an effort to install language that allows them to cancel or reject purchases if they believe the consumer is buying to resell or is potentially using a bot πŸ€–

Personally, I am happy to see these rules go into effect, because the prevalence of bots has made buying hype sneakers damn near impossible. If you don't already know, bots are basically browser extensions that allow you to buy items online and check out within seconds πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ

If you've ever tried to buy something right at 11AM when it's added to the online store, you know how infuriating it is to stall out at the checkout screen while all the available pairs sell out in seconds. It's happened to me multiple times 😒

Honestly now that Nike has imposed these new rules, I kind of feel like I missed the boat on bots. We do not encourage reselling, but I feel like with a bot I woulda hit on mad sneakers I missed out on and looked pretty fly like Ben Affleck πŸ’§

Oh well, at least Nike is making it easier to cop shoes...we hope 😬
