Pandas Are Back

For the upteenth time, Nike released the infamous Panda Dunks this past Wednesday. Now this has happened about 11 times in the past four years, so typically this wouldn’t warrant a whole newsletter entry from me. BUT, this time is different because Nike opted to utilize an underused model: The Dunk Mid 💧

Now, I understand that a lot of people are going to write this shoe off because Dunks aren’t it anymore, Air Jordan Mids are looked down upon, and Pandas are certainly played out. But what's crazy is that the Dunk Mid is actually a way cooler model than an Air Jordan Mid, and maybe even cooler than the Dunk Low 👀

Nike Made Panda Dunk Mids…😬

The Jordan Mid suffers from looking like a truncated version of its big sibling, the Air Jordan 1 High. I feel like the longer Jordan 1 toe box looks funny with a shorter back heel. The newest Dunk Mid is still perfectly proportional and the larger back heel tab looks awesome 🔥

I may be biased because back in the day I had a beat up pair of Dunk Mids in a White/Red/Grey colorway that gave me Ultraman vibes. Anyways, I’m getting off track here, these Panda Dunk Mids dropped on Wednesday for $120 - snatch them up if you don’t already have a pair 🐼
