The Air Force 1 is widely considered the most accessible and versatile sneakers of our generation, so why would Nike stop making them? Here’s what Nike’s CFO had to say about it 👇
In a recent earnings call, Matt Friend, Nike’s Chief Financial Officer, stated
“We are in the midst of a shifting product portfolio toward newness and innovation.
For example. We are pulling back supply of classics, such as the Air Force 1.” 👀✍️

Honestly I’ve probably seen enough dunks for the rest of my life, but please don’t stop making the AF1. The last resale on the White Uptowns is only $82…imagine if they stop making them and that number skyrockets? 👀
Currently I know a lot of people who treat AF1 like they’re a white tee. They wear ‘em a handful of times and then ditch them for a new pair. I personally don’t spend bread like that, but the wide spread availability of these AF1 clearly plays an integral role in the manner in which people purchase them 💰

If they actually go through with halting production we may start seeing people bust out those toothbrushes and start giving last summer’s pair a good cleaning. AF1 scarcity would be a nightmare for a lot of people. Like if these became some $300 shoe on StockX I’d be super sick over that. The Supreme AF1s may end up being some of the most coveted shoes of all-time 📈
Don’t forget to check back in on Friday…Kobe’s LOADING 🐍
