On Monday, The Athletic reporter Shams Charania had an interesting Tweet announcing DeMar DeRozan as the "face" of the Nike Kobe line 🐍

Shortly after, Vanessa Bryant clapped back in the comments, saying that no one is the face of the Kobe brand besides Kobe, with star Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu agreeing 🗣

Personally, I couldn't agree more with Vanessa. When I think of current players that rep the Mamba brand, I think of DeMar, Sabrina and D-Book, but I look at them more as brand ambassadors, or young Jedi's of the Mamba force ⚔️

Kobe will forever be on another level as an icon and mentor, and nobody will ever be the face of the Kobe brand besides Kobe 🏆

Billie Eilish's New AF1s

Billie Eilish is lowkey Nike's secret weapon. The 20-year-old has already won seven Grammy's, but has taken her fashion influencer to new levels over the past few years with some unique drops 🧥

I loved her Jordan 15s, and the Velcro AF1s were so wild. Now, she has two more Air Force 1s dropping, but this time they are lowtops. These are different, respect to Ms. Eilish 💧

Billie is an absolute icon and has one of the biggest cult followings of any artist, so it makes sense that Nike continues to tap her for sneaker drops. I mean just look how wild her last Grammy performance was 🎵
