Tatum's New Shoe

We finally got our first look at Jayson Tatum's first signature shoe with Jordan Brand, and unfortunately the initial fan reception has been primarily negative. Honestly, some of these responses speak for themselves, before we get into those take a look 👇

Seriously. People are not happy...

I don't really know what to say that the people haven't already said. Clearly fans are not happy with these shoes and they feel like Tatum deserves better. It doesn't stop 👇

Coming off a NBA Finals appearance last year and looking like an MVP favorite this year, it's safe to say that Tatum is one of the new faces of the league, and it’s unfortunate that fans are so displeased with these sneakers. It's worth noting that last night Tatum said that what's been seen isn't necessarily what the shoes look like 🤔

I think a lot of people are caught up in the look of this specific Bred colorway, and I wouldn't be surprised if other colors end up looking a lot cleaner. Someone on instagram said “you can tell AI to make a better shoe”, and I feel that unfair - making performance basketball shoes look good is no small task

• I feel like most sneaker fans only like the OG Jordan models because they place a strong emphasis on how the kicks look off the court. Not everything has to go with jeans to be considered a valid basketball sneaker!

• I have a coworker who copped some Jordan 37s to wear to work. He’s different for that, I like his style 💧
