Pharrell x Louis Vuitton

The fashion world is buzzing with the news that Pharrell Williams will be named the Creative Director of Louis Vuitton. His first collection will debut next June during Men's Fashion Week in Paris 👏

Past Creative Directors for Louis Vuitton have included Marc Jacobs and Virgil Abloh. Pharrell is obviously a very influential figure in the worlds of fashion and music, so this addition feels very in line with the recent direction of the legendary luxury brand 💧

It's long rumored that the LV Creative Director position was coveted by Kanye West, and when Virgil Abloh was awarded the position, it played a role in their falling out. Regardless of whatever drama ensued in the scramble for the throne, it’s safe to say that there isn’t a bigger job in the fashion industry today in 2023 ⛑

Pharrell still has his Hu line with adidas, but not sure how much longer that will last with this big next step. I guess Virgil had Off-White the whole time he was with LV 👀
