Reebok’s Big Hires

Shaquille O’Neal and Allen Iverson are returning to Reebok as President and Vice President of Basketball. I love to see two legendary Reebok athletes return to a brand eager to re-establish their position in today’s world of basketball. Check out our interview with DJ Diesel 👇

As president of basketball, Shaq will leverage his own personal network to build meaningful relationships and partnerships with players. Iverson will spearhead player recruitment and focus on the brand’s presence in grassroots and community initiatives, something he’s been doing for years with the Iverson Classic High School showcase game 💪

Shaq signed with Reebok back in ‘92, and funny enough, Reebok CEO Todd Krinsky also started with the brand in ‘92. Cool full circle moment for all three parties, and for those of you too young to remember Shaq’s first shoe, expect the Shaq Attack OG to make a comeback 💧

Iverson also made his ‘96 NBA debut with Reebok, and chose to sign with the brand because they had his iconic Reebok Question ready to go for opening day. We’ve been giving these away for a minute now, and anyone who has gotten a pair might want to look into flipping them soon 👀

These are really exciting hires for the basketball world, and expect a lot of the next generation hoopers to sign with Shaq, AI and Reebok 💰
