Lifetime Contract Alert!

Steph Curry is signing a LIFETIME CONTRACT with Under Armour for a BILLION DOLLARS. His current contract with the company, which is due to expire in 2024, is reportedly worth $20M annually, but we all know he's worth more than that 💰

Steph spent the first four years of his NBA career signed to Nike before signing with UA, but Curry is undeniably the face of the brand so the bag is clearly deserved 💧

Joel Embiid and Dennis Smith Jr. are also signed to the UA, but neither has had a signature sneaker compete with the popularity of the Curry

  • LeBron James is signed to a similar $1B+ lifetime contract with Nike

  • James, MJ & Tiger Woods are the three athletes that have achieved Billionaire status, and it's no coincidence that all three are signed with Nike

I respect Steph doing his own thing with UA, and even though he used to be signed to Nike, I can't even imagine him sharing the bill with LeBron and KD at this point in their respective careers. NikeTown just isn’t big enough for the three of them 🏠

CDG x Nike

Comme De Garçon is releasing two colorways of the Air Max 97. And following the appearance of official images back in August, the Japanese label is now preparing for the collaboration’s September 22nd release 🔥

Earlier this year we were treated to another fire release in the Air Max Sunder (peep below), but CDG opted for a more mainstream sneaker this time around. The Air Max 97 is so common that I wouldn't be surprised if this pair gets overlooked a bit 👀

While the “Glacier Grey” colorway is extremely clean and should generate a fair amount of hype, I could see the black pair being passed over because it looks similar to a number of other AM96s that have released in recent years 👟

It's worth mentioning these pairs retail for $350 nasty and will only be available at the CDG store and Dover Street Market...great kicks but a little rich for my blood 😬
