🤨 Is Steve Kerr Sabotaging the Celtics' Chemistry?
NBA legends have been criticizing Steve Kerr over Jayson Tatum's lack of minutes on Team USA. That, and the exclusion of Jaylen Brown from the team are raising claims of sabotage. Do we agree? Can't say (2 min read)

Team USA vs. The Celtics
Did Steve Kerr blackball Jaylen Brown from the US men's Olympic team and intentionally give Jayson Tatum limited minutes? First, let me be clear: I don't know. I wasn't there. This is a sensitive issue with lots of money, brand partnerships, and egos at play. I don't want to get myself or my employer in hot water, so I'll take a delicate approach as I try to unpack this Steve Kerr-Celtics controversy 🫣
steve kerr choosing to bring derrick white on the olympic team instead of jaylen brown and then making sure to only play derrick white and not jayson tatum so as to sow unrest on the celtics is some phil jackson level of mind games lol

Secondly, I want to say I like Steve Kerr a lot. I think Jaylen Brown is perhaps the coolest guy in the NBA. Jayson Tatum is my homie—he commented on my video, so he's my brother for life. We're locked in, plain and simple 🤞

I believe all three of these guys deserved to be on the Olympic roster: Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, and Derrick White. Derrick White maybe a bit less than the other two, but he's a superstar glue guy and the consummate professional in his role 🤌

Jaylen Brown has beef with Nike. Throughout the season, he wore Kobe Bryant's signature shoes with the Nike swoosh removed or hidden. Previously, Brown was signed to Yeezy and involved in the Donda Doves project, which ended poorly. He directed several pointed tweets at Nike during this period, asserting that he's not intimidated by their influence or resources. Many speculate that this conflict is why he wasn't selected for the Nike-sponsored Team USA, despite clearly having the skills to make the team. Enough said

As for Jayson Tatum, he deserved more playing time. Simply put, he's too talented to be sitting on the bench. I don't believe Steve Kerr has a hidden agenda against the Celtics. He's an excellent coach with a great reputation. If there were any bias, they wouldn't have selected Derrick White. However, it's worth noting that the Celtics did face Kerr's Warriors in the finals, which might have influenced some decisions 🤕
Jeff Teague thinks Team USA’s actions against the Boston duo made the Celtics even stronger:
“[Team USA] just ruined everything for the NBA… now they just built the dynasty.”
