SNKRS App Heartbreak 💔

You thought you were going to get a pair of the Air Jordan 1 Lost and Found? There were suppose to be 244k pairs available but as expected the SNRKS app crashed and everyone took to Twitter to cry about it. This is a me venting newsletter, hope you enjoy my sadness 😢 (2 min read)

Air Jordan Lost & Found Pump Fake

Damn. Everyone and their mama thought the Air Jordan 1 Chicago “Lost and Found” were re-stocking yesterday at 11:40AM EST, so we all lined up like chumps with our credit cards ready to buy 🤡

11:40 came and went, and Nike had us all looking mad dumb refreshing the SNKRS app. Then boom, 1:40PM EST I get a notification that the app has locked and loaded all the Lost and Founds 😅

There were supposed to be almost 250k pairs available, and I tried to get one for my homie, but alas neither he, nor I, nor his wife’s phone was able to check some kicks 🤷🏽‍♂️

Apple Pay wasn’t working, and the check out button was grayed out, nasty. Crazy disappointing but also totally expected. I'm sure millions of people were trying to buy at the same time and inevitably the app crashed 📵

I feel like something has to be done to improve the SNKRS app. Nike knows the demand will be insane, so why can’t they do something to bolster the app prior to these drops…

I have a few ideas of my own, but I don’t wanna give Nike free game. If you want to cop pair for a few hundo slide in here 👇
