Ye Is Making 3D Boots 🖨

Ye's new 3D printed boots, Hiroshi Fujiwara rocking unreleased Fragment x Travis x AJ1 lows court-side and a note from our friends at The Alerts Daily 💧 (3 min read)

3D Printed Boots

The artist formerly known as Kanye West has been posting a lot of intense and emotional stuff on Instagram recently, and his fashion show has been controversial to say the least, but we’re not gonna talk about all that because this is a sneaker newsletter 😅

Ye was modeling, but on the sneaker side of things, he previewed a 3D-printed YZY boot in collaboration with 3D printing footwear company Zellerfeld. The boots will look familiar to anyone who has followed Ye’s recent obsession with Balenciaga crocs, Bottega Venetta boots, etc...except these were 3D printed! 🖨

Zellerfeld has been on tear recently, collaborating with Ambush and Heron Preston. The HP collab was particularly dope and I was hyped to join the beta test until I saw they wanted me to pay $350...they're cool but not $350 cool

As I write this, news just broke that adidas is official putting their Yeezy partnership “under review”. Sheesh, wild times we live in. Looks like Ye is gonna get out of his contract after all 👀

Unreleased Fragment x Travis Scott x AJ1

Feels like every other week I'm writing about a new Travis Scott shoe. Last week I said the suede olive joints are the best ever…now I think it may be these white and blue lows that Hiroshi Fujiwara is rocking court-side 💧

Fujiwara is the designer behind Fragment, and both of the previous blue Travis AJ1’s that dropped this summer were released in collaboration with his brand. My biggest issue with Travis shoes is that they’ve kind of become a staple of expensive tasteless Hypebeast culture. They’re eye catching, but it's hard to wear them in a low key manner. This most recent shoe is all white with a blue reverse swoosh...super clean! 🧼

As of right now these are looking like they're just a Friends & Family pair, but who knows?! Maybe we will be blessed with a general release one day 🙏
